A professional portrait photographer for over 15 years, I create connections and seek to show people as they are. In this series I am celebrating the wholeness of owning all the aspects of being human from our feelings of uncertainty and loneliness, to the contentment that comes when we allow ourselves to be still and fully present.

Inspired by the blues in nature and the juxtaposition between upheaval and renewal, I chose the wet cyanotype process to create a collaboration between my work and the natural agents of chemical change; turmeric, water, vinegar and salt. Envisioning each final piece while allowing the process to transform the outcome is a reminder of how we move our lives both creating and adapting.
