“I have been making pottery for over fifty years. Twelve years ago, i opened my studio on Orcas and have been selling through Crow Valley Gallery ever since. My work is split fairly evenly between hand built and wheel thrown pieces. Most are intended for use in the kitchen the dining room table: mugs, bowls, serving platters, dinnerware, and vases. I focus on straightforward forms with surface decoration ranging from traditional glazes to colorful, whimsical designs. My goal is make pieces that work well, are interesting to look at, and perhaps bring a smile to the face of the person using them.”
