Kirk Nozaki was born and raised in Los Angeles. He was a menswear clothing designer for many decades. He recently moved to Orcas in 2021.

“I am new to ceramics and my work is inspired by the little things in nature. My work is often informed by my work as a designer. I oftentimes create paper patterns and cut the clay slabs out like you would fabric.”
